Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT)

WETT was seeking a new home for their corporate office and brought on Structura to perform a class-A multi-level finish-out of an existing 17,200 SF space. The client required an in-house data center installed on the first floor, controlled by four CRAC units, with a back up battery and generator system that powers the entire building in the event of a power outage. Because of the importance of maintaining constant energy flow, the redundancy of the battery and backup generator were critical to the design of the building and the success of WETT’s mission. Additionally, the office required extra security measures which included both interior and exterior security systems and access and included a high security badge-in / badge-out card reader at each entrance. The second floor has two interior suites, conference rooms, kitchens and employee break rooms. Finally, WETT topped their facility with weather antennae to monitor for any extreme weather events.

Project Included:

• Multi-Level Corporate finish out, consisting of 2 interior suites on the second level & 1 frequency exchange/data center on the first floor.
• High Security installations with Badge-In / Badge Out card readers for each entrance.
• Installation of Battery Back-Up System, Along with Generator Back-Up Power for entire building.
• Data Center controlled by (4) CRAC units.
• Interior and Exterior security system installed.
• Weather radar antennas installed.
