Children’s Learning Adventure  

This ground-up, one-story building housing infant, preschool, and after-school care center was built on a highly visible and easily accessible site. The building provides high security with controlled access in and out of the building. With 32 national vendors, schedule coordination was challenging. The after-school portion of the building includes a culinary cove where children can learn to cook, a bowling alley, a laboratory lagoon, a reading reef with a large salt-water aquarium, an indoor basketball court, a multi-purpose room, art rooms, and an imagination island. Administration areas include kitchen, office, and staff resources. There are eleven infant care and toddler daycare rooms. Technology is utilized throughout the facility with tablet stations loaded with age-appropriate games, puzzles and learning activities.
