Austin Eye - Jolleyville

The Austin Eye Jollyville clinic, the newest facility for Dr. Shannon Wong and his growing Austin Eye practice, has undergone a meticulous renovation to transform the existing space into a state-of-the-art eye care center. The 11,094 SF renovation involved converting the structure to an unprotected wood frame type construction, including the addition of a full sprinkler system for enhanced safety.

Phase II

This project was executed in two phases to ensure the clinic could maintain full operations throughout the renovation. Phase 1 encompassed a 6,352 SF partial interior remodel and an exterior facade renovation at the front of the building. Phase 2 involved a 4,742 SF interior renovation of the back half of the facility, while staff and patients occupied the newly completed Phase 1 area.

Given the complexity of renovating an operational clinic, extensive logistical planning was essential. Proper signage and fencing were implemented to ensure safety and separation between construction zones and clinic operations. The primary goal was to achieve zero disruption during both phases, ensuring continuous, uninterrupted care for patients.

The updated clinic now provides a modern, efficient environment for comprehensive eye care, reflecting the commitment of Austin Eye to deliver exceptional services to the community.
